Before installing the Gooseneck Trailer Lock:
Apply trailer brakes and/or chock tires.
1. Assemble the Gooseneck Trailer Lock by first catching the rear “fingers” on the lip of the hitch.
2. Raise the main body into place and select the appropriate pin hole to be used therefore allowing for the tightest fit.
Note: The pin location determines the direction of pin entry and placement of lock mechanism. The lock mechanism must always face downward therefore preventing entry of rain and dirt.
3. Once you have determined the proper pin location and direction of entry, align your lock mechanism accordingly.
4. Align the hole in the pin with the locking mechanism pin and depress the locking mechanism button (with key removed) securing the lock and your trailer.
